## Parameters Edit

This file is quite easy to understand and allow you to build custome engine (from a dyno file for example).

There are 3 parameters:

• id of your bike (it should match the one you have in your config file)
• engine torque map (used when accelerating, for best performance use a dynosheet of a real engine)
• engine brake map (used for decelleration, it is important to set the brake map correctly, otherwise you get a locking rear wheel at downshift regardless of the slipper clutch.)

The format for the 2 maps is the following :

• numpoints : number of points in the map (you can define as much points as you want, the more the better and smoother the power band)
• each point has RPS (round per second) in the right and torque in NM in the left. You don´t need more then two decimal places.

## Conversion : Edit

If you want to quickly build a map, the best way to do it is to use an excel sheet. Here are some formula to help :

To convert from RPS to RPM

> RPM = RPS * 60

To convert from ft.lbs to NM

> NM = ft.lbs * 1.35582

To retrieve the power from torque and RPM

> Power (kW) = NM * RPM * 2 * PI  / 60000

> Power (PS or HP or Cv) = Power (kW) / 0.73549875

> Power (BHP - British unit) = Power (kW) / 0.74569987

(where NM is the torque in NM)
